Dr Hill is the senior Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Kent Oncology Centre in Maidstone and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent.

He specialises in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers including:
- colorectal cancer
- upper gastrointestinal cancer
- oesophagus, stomach, liver, bile duct, ampulla & pancreas
- cancers of unknown primary site
– neuroendocrine tumours


Dr Hill undertook clinical training at the Royal Marsden Hospital where he was appointed Consultant in 1998, jointly with the Kent Oncology Centre.

Dr Hill is very active in the sphere of new treatments and clinical trials, having published over 60 peer reviewed papers in high ranking journals.

As an NHS Consultant, Dr Hill is based at the Kent Oncology Centre in Maidstone, with outreach clinics in Pembury. Dr Hill's private practice is based at the Tunbridge Wells Nuffield Hospital but he also consults at the West Malling Treatment Centre and at LOC in Harley Street.

He is a founding Trustee of a local cancer research charity, Kent Cancer Trust.

Outside of work he has interests in cricket, cycling, travel and spending time with his wife and four children.
